How to deal with racism? | A workshop to empower those affected

Many people are affected by racist discrimination.

This workshop aims to provide a safe space for personal experiences. Support and orientation when affected can lead to empowerment and self-empowerment, which can enable a new perspective.

The forms of discrimination are presented in order to classify racist attacks as such.

Possible topics to work on under guidance:

What is my experience of discrimination?

• What do I reveal, what do I want to share, where are my boundaries?
• What if health consequences arise?
• How do we see ourselves, how do we help ourselves and how do we strengthen ourselves?
• A self-help group is one possibility!

This offer is aimed at all those affected in Bremen and the surrounding area.

There will be a follow-up meeting for debriefing in early 2022.
