Project Active Encounter

Reduce prejudice between people with refugee experience and the police through joint activities.

The project AKTIVES BEGEGNEN (Active Encounters) is an initiative that promotes an exchange between Bremen residents with refugee experience and students of the Police Civil Service program at the Bremen University of Applied Sciences (HfÖV). The goal is to strengthen understanding and tolerance through a change of perspective. The project starts on April 26, 2023 and is implemented in cooperation with the association Flüchtling für Flüchtling e.V. in Bremen. The participants of both target groups develop and implement joint activities according to their own interests.
