On November 15, 2022, the House of Resources hosted a workshop specifically for organizations, associations, and initiatives looking to create engaging graphics for their website, social media, and event flyers. The workshop offered participants the opportunity to be guided step-by-step through the design process to unleash their creativity and effectively communicate their messages.
The participants of the workshop came with different experience and previous knowledge in graphic design. Some already had experience with graphic tools, while others had never tried to create graphics themselves before.
The workshop started with an introduction to the main Canva basics and participants were introduced to the different graphic tools and learned how to use them properly and how to use these elements effectively to create appealing and professional graphics.

During the workshop, a lot of emphasis was also placed on teaching Canva graphic design best practices. Here already exists great templates that are appealing and easy to implement for their own needs.
